About

Address lookup that tells you what it costs, and then just works.

SnapAddress is the UK address lookup for WordPress, built on licensed Royal Mail data for businesses that take addresses online. Every pack price is on the site, and when something changes, we tell you before it happens and why.

Who’s behind it

This isn’t our first checkout.

SnapAddress is built by Clearpath Labs. Our founder, Mark Salvin, ran basket and checkout at Not On The High Street, where he built the address lookup.

No sales call, no support tiers. Support comes back from someone who knows the codebase.

Our values

What you can hold us to

Show, don't claim
You can run a real lookup on the demo without signing up, read every price on the pricing page and copy a working request from the docs. We’d rather you check for yourself.
Nothing to hide
Prices, licence terms and what we don’t do are written down. Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. This validity period is a requirement of our Royal Mail PAF licence. Before any price rise we give at least 14 days’ notice by email and on the pricing page. SnapAddress covers UK addresses only and doesn’t return coordinates, and the data page says so. We don’t keep the addresses your customers look up. When we get something wrong, we say so and put it right.
Respect your time
You don’t need to book a call to get started. You get 100 free lookups without a card, and the docs cover the awkward cases: a postcode with more than 100 addresses, a new build that isn’t in the data yet, a lookup that finds nothing.
Get it exactly right
Our data is Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File: over 32 million UK delivery points, down to flat and unit level, refreshed monthly. You can check our licence with Royal Mail directly.
Small on purpose
SnapAddress is run by its founder. When you email, Mark reads it and replies. Staying small keeps our running costs, and so our prices, down.

The company

Built to last

SnapAddress is self-funded and licensed by Royal Mail, so we answer to our customers and our licence, not to investors. Credits are prepaid and nothing renews without you asking. The API is plain REST, so you’re never locked in. If anything ever changed, our Terms set out the notice you’d get and what happens to your credits.

What’s next

From checkout to forms

We started with the WooCommerce checkout, classic and block. The plugin is free on WordPress.org. WordPress form builders are next, so the same lookup works on quote, booking and enquiry forms. In the meantime, the REST API works from any stack.

Where we’re heading: the address lookup UK WordPress sites install by default, and recommend because it never surprised them.
