Install the plugin

Common questions

Does it work with WooCommerce Checkout Blocks?+
Yes. The plugin registers as a native Checkout Blocks integration, and also supports the classic shortcode-based checkout for stores that haven't migrated.
Is it HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) compatible?+
Yes. The plugin is declared HPOS-compatible and works with WooCommerce's modern order storage as well as the legacy posts tables.
Do I need to touch any code?+
No. Install the plugin, paste your API key, and the postcode lookup appears on your checkout automatically — classic or blocks, no theme changes, no developer needed.
Can my staff use it when taking phone orders?+
Yes. Tick “Admin order and subscription screens” in WooCommerce → SnapAddress and a “Find a UK address” field appears on the order screen, for new and existing orders. Staff lookups use credits exactly like customer lookups.
Does it work when customers edit their address in My Account?+
Yes. Tick “My Account > Addresses” in the plugin settings. It's off until you turn it on, so updating the plugin never changes your store on its own.
What happens if the API is down or my credits run out?+
Wherever the lookup appears, it falls back to manual address entry. Customers can still complete their order and staff can still type an address — no hard dependency, no failed checkouts.
Do you store my customers' addresses?+
No. Address lookups are a pass-through: we return results to your store, but don't retain the addresses your customers select. We log the postcode queried for billing and abuse prevention, and keep those logs for 13 months.
